Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Last night the three of us, along with 6,000 other fans, headed to the CornBelter's home opener at the Corn Crib in Normal. Griffin was mesmerized by all of the happenings and was surprised to find his cousins Alayna and Adriana sitting right behind us. It was a special night as Griffin got to enjoy a few nachos and part of an ice cream sandwich during the game as well as stay up waaaaaay past his bedtime. He especially loved the preview of the fireworks. It was too bad that we couldn't have stayed until the end of the game because he talked about them all the way home. The Meyer family will definitely be coming back to this ballpark for years to come!
